I wanted to share a bit more information about the current state of the game.


Ok, so first of all, thanks to everyone who has followed the project. Second, usually some projects have the help of other developers, friends, or family. In my case, I'm doing it all by myself, which means that I have to develop 3D models, textures, animations, sounds, and pretty much everything else myself, so at the end of the day, I'm slower than everyone. But that's why I had to clarify it; it's not like I abandon the project from time to time, but I also have work and studies to do.

Next, like I said before, I do everything by myself (I'm grateful for all the people who tried to help me, but currently I don't need the help; I'm trying to see to what extent I can work things out myself). But I'm not a professional developer, and I don't have a skillset like most of the people around here, so I usually run into some problems like illumination that doesn't fit, audio that cuts out, some characters that do not work properly, etc.

 

Im actively making and fixing stuff, and that's why I also wanted to do a poll. Since my "teasers" don't have that great of a quality, should I keep posting them from time to time or stop completely? I do think that my "teasers" lack content or have bad quality, so it will be a great help if I get some light in here.

 

For those who want to know more about the game development process, Im using the new Unreal Engine 5, so it's expected that the game will have great illumination and details without that much of a performance impact. Also, I had a talk with the one and only @Nikson_Official  and he gave me permission to use his ignited models for a little surprise in the future.

 

The game does not have a release date (I know it's been a long time), but since I'm learning along the way of making the game, sometimes I have to scrap some ideas and sometimes I have to bring them back, and for the early version of the game, AKA the Alpha version, I do have plans to release it later this year; Disclaimer: The Alpha version will not feature any story; it will most likely be a polished version of mechanics, graphics, and maps. I have yet to decide what maps to include in the alpha because I do have more than one. Yes, you heard right—more than one.

 

And some stuff before I leave: if I don't post stuff or answer comments, it's usually because of work, but do not worry, I'll keep posting from time to time.

 

Last but not least, I know that the project of Sinister Turmoil has been scrapped many times by many people, and to be honest, I'm most likely the one who worked on it the most. I'm not sure about that last part, but I wanted to say that this project lost the interest of many people, and when I say many, it's probable 99.9% of people lost interest, forgot it existed, or straight up hated it. We all have high hopes for FNAF Plus (me too), but I have to say that I too have high hopes for my project. If everything goes as planned, it will be on par with the big ones (or even better, who knows?). For now, I just hope nothing bad happens and I can finish it.
