About avatars I sent emails to GameJolt, but it's still not fixed for example.
There's some cool stuff you could also do, like adding Creators section for the API to do make creators able to do some cool stuff. I'd also make it possible (I can't see this kind of option) to see how many sessions are open in the game, from the API. Not only on the API settings or sth.
Doing some friends related stuff, as you mentioned in the Sessions page
Sessions will be shown as live to friends
Gamers will be able to see which games they (and their friends) have played and for how long.
I was thinking about also some "notifications" like game invites and stuff so you can directly invite people in a multiplayer server/lobby through GameJolt friends. That would require some more work and more "fetching" data I guess... So Idk about that but that would be pretty cool.
Also, I've never made a paid game in here, but when people do there's also no way to authenticate a player and check if they bought the game? Idk about that, maybe I'm wrong maybe it just won't authenticate a player for game that is set to be paid but I don't think it works like this.
The current API is pretty lacking the cool stuff, don't get me wrong it got some already tho, but could always use some more.
