If you guessed Fleabane, you were right!

Fleabane is a wildflower in the daisy family. I used this tag in 2001 to sign up for an online community activity run by Nintendo celebrating the launch of Pikmin.

More info in the article below.

Prior to this point in time, I was too shy and nervous about interacting with other people online to have any need of an online identity. This community activity run by Nintendo, however, did not require direct interaction with other people.

The goal was simple; everyone worked together to locate and collect items from the game that were scattered across Nintendo's sites. While there was a leaderboard, emphasis was really put on teamwork. We were the Pikmin! There wasn't all that much to it, but it just felt cool teaming up with people from all over the world to get as many points as we could before the activity ended. I do believe there was a chance of winning prizes for those who shared in the activity, but can't remember what they were. LOL

Sadly, there isn't any remaining trace of my leaderboard placement for me to show you, and my identity as Fleabane ended along with the activity, but here's the best snapshot I could find of the site: https://web.archive.org/web/20020403094303/http://www.pikmin.com/flash.jsp

Hope you all have a lovely day!

#GJAsks Mario Kart has always had a place in my heart in terms of multiplayer games.

Not only can anybody play this with the simple controls, have you ever seen a video game where you drive a Mercedes as an inkling from Splatoon?

Didn't think so!

For #Joltober Day 28, I drew a #Scarecrow from The Legend of Zelda!

Pet portrait for a friend.

Their adopted cat (affectionately named Porch Kitty) disappeared for 5 days (he has never left the house), so I painted this to help them with their loss. Happily, the cat returned home, safe and sound.
