This doesn't mean I'm taking a break from Game Jolt. I'll still be active here even though I'm not going to work on my games for some time.
After I released update 1.0.5 of Five Nights at Bootleg Plush's 2, I decided to take a break from game development for some time.
First, a couple days after I released that update, my computer started to BSoD during startup, with the "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" stop code, and before that, it could only startup properly when skipping the chkdsk scan, otherwise leaving it running would make it get stuck around 70%, and would automatically restart some minutes later, causing it to restart the scan unless it is skipped, and the next day, Windows had to be reinstalled, and all my files and stuff were deleted again. I didn't want to risk working on updates or new games on that computer, since after it was formatted the first time, I was still getting a couple more BSoDs, and it still kept asking me to scan the hard drive for errors (or to restart to fix the errors). Also, when I was testing FNaBP 2, it was running slower than normal, and getting multiple BSoDs in a day is just annoying.
This means I taking a break until my new computer arrives at my house. I still need to wait some days before my mom actually buys it. It's also going to be a desktop, instead of a laptop, and will be more powerful than the laptop that I was using.
My estimate of when I'm coming back with game development is sometime in April. Probably around early-mid, or mid-late April.
