In december 31th 2023, the first build of Koppy Kopsocks (Kumper) was released on Scratch (then gradually updated). That makes it 2 years of Koppy's debut!

(There was other prototype I made in 2022, but it's different in every way so I don't count it)


Huh? There's 3 Koppys?

Those are his different designs he had over the course of development! They don't really look any different at all because I drew them in the same artstyle as I use for current Koppy artwork, but there's this post where you can see the actual art of Koppy I did on its respective years.

He basically used to be more yellow, had more slit pupils, and a different atitude. His sweater also appears to be different but it's kinda hard to track, since there were times where I drew the pocket and the tag while other times I didn't (same inconsistency applies to his ears as well).

Who are the 2 on the bottom?

The original Koppy and his twin brother! At the time they didn't really have any name aside from the project being called "Kangoo Twins".

I did these for fun, as I wanted to make my own animated series with this character, but these loops was the best I could animate at the time. (I got inspired in the 2001 pilot "A Kitty Bobo Show" for the style in the 2!)

Name change! Kumper Socks is now Koppy Kopsocks.

This name change was made for a particular reason (the same reason as why Pac-Man didn't stick to Puck-man).

The logo will be updated later.

(The 0.4.0 build with the rebrand is now avaliable!)

Reworking the player physics & more!

In the feedback I got, some of them said that the player's momentum felt weird in many ways, so now I'm trying to completelly rework the player physics.

I'm also revamping the sprinting & Data menu screen!

Just found out that I actually saved an art that has Koppy's first ever design, his name was Kevin (I was horrible at giving names) and he was going to be part of other project of mine.

Kumper is now back in development!

It's been months since I haven't worked on this game, but now I picked up on this again and actually reworked everything from zero just yesterday. This is the progress so far.

This build is now playable too!

2023 KOPPY SKETCHES!!!

Old design I came up for Koppy. He always had his socks on his previous concepts, but this was the first time he got a shirt. I ended up making him wear both.

University in december is hell, this is all I can do for Koppy for now.
