Indev Release 0.6.0 Available!


Hey everyone!

Thanks for the feedback on the last version of SandBlock, I’ve now updated the game with some neat little features that you may like ;)

  • Added jumping

  • Added GameJolt API

  • Added <connected> achievement

  • Added social media buttons to main menu

  • Added randomly spawned grass designs (Pebbles, tall grass, etc.)

  • Added health bar (Health-affecting objects to be added)

  • Added name tag (“Player01” by default, changes when logged into GameJolt)

  • Added loading screen (For all of you who wondered why the game froze when hitting “Start Game” ;D)

  • Modified backdrop for main menu

  • Switched out ugly Java icon for SandBlock logo

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
