So once again we wanted to introduce the Collision Team to the world! there aren`t many but they talk too much here it is…

Sholner the Rubik

Hey everybody! Sholner here, people call me Japolo as well (do not try and pronounce it) and I am the director Paletin`s brother.

I`m 22 years old, currently studying animation, also I do programming, design, sprite, animate and polish some general stuff for project Collision.

On previous posts you can see stuff like the menus, character select screen and stage select screen, I have been there helping it to get to it`s final stage, or in some other ones you can see my trademarked “black, white and some flames” design, my specialty for the game.

On the sprite set of things I´ve been working on some aspects for Mario and Link. either enhancing some moves or fixing sprites. Remember that old animation showcase post? I worked on Sonic´s sprites as well, I´m a fan of the blue blur, when he arrives in the game I want you guys to have a great visual experience with his moves.

We haven´t done it yet, but in the future we want to show more animations for the game, such as fighters, menu screens, even the previous victory screens on action, so be alert when those things come around.

On a Programming Update I can only say that I´m making the main menu and character select screen, making sure there are as few bugs as possible, I´m also thinking about implementing those victory animations but that´s for the future. If you want to know about my “programming experience” I´ve been working on a personal project called “Memorias de un Erizo” or “Memories of a Hedgehog” a sonic fangame, It´s not finished yet but I´ve been told it shows some promise.

This project has grown greatly and some people already approached us wanting to join in, thing is, Everyone can, we just need to know what they are capable of before we give them something to work in.
