Hello GameJolt! I'm City. the owner of the FNAF Fangame Wiki, Broadside Wiki, and Poppy Playtime Wiki! The FNAF Fangame Wiki has always been a project I've cherished and have actively contributed to for the past 1/2 years now! I'd like to bring the website more attention, hence this post!

This post serves to be an altered iteration of our Monthly Wiki Devlog for January 2025 in hopes to bring some of you talented users to our site! Without further ado, I'll begin by stating the progress I made for the last three months now!

What IS the FNAF Fangame Wiki?

The FNAF Fangame Wiki serves as a successor to the plentiful amount of outdated FNAF Fangames databases on FANDOM. Initially, Ciity, the adoptive owner, managed four separate wikis: JR's Wiki, Tyke and Sons Lumber Co. Wiki, Aftonbuilt Wiki, and FNAF World Simulator Wiki. It only took one day, a thought that was an idea, that lead to the compiling of these four wikis into a single, comprehensive encyclopedia! Since June 2023, the wiki has been been on a non-stop spree of documenting the development, gameplay, plot, and reception of all FNAF fangames while collaborating with various developers, including the minds behind Five Nights at Freddy's: In Real Time, Animator's Hell, The Fazbear Facility, The Return to Bloody Nights, Playtime with Percy, and more as we continue to grow.

How is the FNAF Fangame Wiki?

As I detailed in a prior post, despite announcing in October that I was going to prioritize my other wikis, I switched up nearly a week after and prioritized this wiki AGAIN. That may be great for you guys, and in honesty it's really fun for me, however there's TWO other communities I have to tend too! So with that being said, I'll update you guys what was happening.

So, with October's announcement aside, I mainly stated that I wanted to prioritize articles relating to Animatronics, Characters, and Nights. I would say that this was a success and I have a lot of fun doing it! It also brought a lot of new people around with it, so my schedule will most likely revolve around a mix of prioritizing actual Fangame articles while taking time to, at the very least, cover the Animatronics and Nights as those two seem to be the most beneficial and most interesting aspects of any fangame. We also launched a brand new format for References, using the {{References}} template, which features names, dates, titles, and an additional Wayback Machine archive!! While it does make progress more tedious, especially when covering the development history of certain fangames, I will 100% say that it's going to be a great change in the long run.

So I would like to gloss over what I truly meant in September's Monthly Devlog. I kinda glossed it over, however yes, we've been endorsed by Gestalt Games, specifically Saminate Blake for Animator's Hell: Definitive Edition, Mitnick for Welcome to Fredbear's: Remake, and a still ongoing mutual collaboration with Rose for Chica's Party World: REBAKED. I've also had some little conversation with Squeaks D'Corgeh in relation to SHIPWRECKED 64, however he's stated in the past he's willing to assist in coverage for POLARDREAD! That sounds nice, no? Anyways, let's get around to the NEW collaborators.

So before I get into anything, I'd like to preface and state that the Five Nights at Freddy's: Blood & Gears article was recently LINKED onto their OFFICIAL WEBSITE and that's super duper cool. That page will be updated shortly with a whole lot of brand new information and the recent lore reveals mainly revolving around the The Fazbear Archive ARG that's still ongoing as of now.

Anyways, our first collaborator is LuckyRoboLAD and his recent release of Engraved Establishment! Currently, the only thing that stands from Engraved Establishment is its fangame article, however I do expect to cover everything about the game, including its decorative props, animatronics, characters, and more! The game is an overall delight to play and offers a lot more for its future definitive release so I really recommend you guys play it!!

The second collaborator on the list is Shady Stork Games and the upcoming release for Freddy's: Reanimated! I've talked with Shady various times in relation to his game and I've gotten a lot of juicy facts about it that I've yet to add to the artilce, including very VERY outdated designs of the animatronics prior to its recent 'realistic' approach that it's been hyped up for. I REALLY wanna do Animatronic pages for Bonnie the Bunny and Chica the Chicken so expect those to come out soon!

The third collaborator is, shockingly, Bonzee and their various project including NIGHTSTARS, Five Nights at Freddy's: Killer Night, and their upcoming DEERWOOD FNaF-Inspired game!! It was very nice to speak to him and I'm super duper interested in covering all their games in their entirety at some point this year! Not much details as of now however expect more to come out of the NIGHTSTARS articles!!

And then that brings us to December, where I was mainly focused playtesting Five Nights at Freddy's: In Real Time. To say that it was a blast was an understatement because it was the most hyped I ever felt. How does this relate to the FNAF Fangame Wiki? Well, for starters, THE WIKI IS LINKED ON THE GAMEJOLT PAGE!! YEAH, I KNOW? CRAZY, RIGHT? ITS CONSIDERED THE OFFICIAL WIKI!! AS IF BEING ON THIER WEBSITE WASN'T CRAZY ENOUGH?????

I'm so glad to welcome all the new viewers, as we've experienced a lot of traction around the Brother, Donavan Duck, Sparky the Dog, and Plot articles!! I'm so glad that I was able to provide context into these relatively obscure aspects of the game. Meanwhile, I've also been working with ryon, the creator of Five Nights at Friedrich's, to go back through his old livestreams and pluck out all the trivia facts for their articles!! Can't wait to see how much I eventually add because I'm only like 25% done with watching all the streams and I've compiled SO much facts already.

I'd also like to gloss over because this was literally yesterday but I did manage to work out something with ryonfox, the developer behind Next Week at Freddy's, and HollowKnight205, the developer behind Welcome to Bon's Burgers: Together Forever, to have concluded the year with TWO brand new collaborations which shape up to be something BIG! Until then, that's practically it!

Updates

Fun Times at Homer's - I mainly want to focus on completing the actual game page before moving onto moving onto the Animatronics pages. I'm also interested in completing the actual trilogy of games (I need to complete Fun Times at Homer's 3) before I actually get to work on anything else.

The TubbyLand Archives - ACT 1 - I finished both Act 1 and Act 2 pages and I'm really happy with how they turned out HOWEVER I really wanna do the Animatronics pages to add more diversity to the Category:Animatronics page because the majority of THAT category is specifically flooded with iterations of the main four animatronics plus some Fredbear articles.

Five Nights at Friedrich's - I did the Animatronic articles today and I'm REALLY happy with that!! All that is left to do, aside from major progress, is to backtract ryon's streams and pluck out all the Trivia facts to add to all the articles. It's nearly like 10 hours worth of footage so i gotta get working!

Animator's Hell - A while back I did clarify that I was working on Animator's Hell and I should clarify what I meant. I have rough drafts of all the characters mechanics written down and all that is left for me to do is write the remaining parts of each article, including the Appearance, Personality, and Trivia facts about the characters. Expect me to publish all the character articles at some point TODAY!

Five Nights at Frickbear's 3 - Had previously collaborated with Dorbledoo to work on references for the wiki article and, aside from a few animatronics, I've managed to fill out the majority of articles revolving around the Animatronics!! Expect more from this game soon.

Engraved Establishment - Not much progress on the wiki aside from its actual fangame page, however I'm looking to get renders of all the animatronics!! Also dumping this game is gonna be a PAIN since it's all image sequences.

Freddy's: Reanimated - All I mostly did was write its Fangame article, including its development history!! Gonna still continue working on that.

Five Nights at Freddy's: In Real Time - Everything, including Animatronics, Characters, Locations, Nights, Cutscenes, Minigames, and the Fangame articles are officially up-to-date with the release! Everything was written during my playtesting and, in all honesty, I'm so glad that I managed to garner such an opportunity. Thanks for all the support, guys!

Next Week at Freddy's - Too early to really say anything but I do expect to fill out its page and at least its Animatronics in the future.

Conclusion
