This project is a narrative-driven, sandbox multiplayer game set in the year 2250. The focus is on mech combat, exploration, and emergent storylines shaped by player decisions. Humanity is expanding into the stars but faces growing internal divisions and the looming presence of an alien Confederation.
The game world is organized around four main factions:
Frontier – survival-focused, using utility mechs, mid-sized bipeds, and ballistic weaponry.
Corporations – heavy industrial power, deploying chemical-fueled mechs with railguns, artillery, and cruise missiles.
Terran Hegemony – high-tech, emphasizing aerial dominance, energy weapons, and nano-enhanced designs.
Confederation – alien rulers, first hinted at in the narrative but later emerging as a direct threat, with Originals, coerced Client Species, and living Bio-Ships.
Gameplay emphasizes sandbox freedom and emergent events in a persistent multiplayer universe. Players explore systems via hyperlanes using quantum detection, field unique mechs tied to faction identities, and encounter a narrative that shifts in response to player choices. The Confederation’s role grows over time, becoming central to the conflict and story arcs.
To support collaboration and organization, a dedicated Discord server has been created. It includes channels for narrative development, gameplay design, concept art, and prototyping. The intent is to create a space where contributors can coordinate, share ideas, and actively shape the project together.
