Introducing: The Swarm Fleet

The Swarm ships are deeply tied into the space combat system and will relentlessly pursue the Space Sailors, trying to disrupt their mission.

Hello Sailors! This post will focus on the basics of each one of the Swarm ships. We will talk about the core mechanics on another date, so stay tuned!

Kabuto

The main attack force of the Swarm armies. Kabuto ships move in squads and their main focus is taking down small ships.

Tick

Heavily armored sabotators ships that focus on taking down large ships. Their carapaces allow them to withstand enough damage to get close enough to use their massive claws.

queen.gif

Queen

Swarm elite forces. These capital ships are capable of taking down the most sturdy of the ships. Their long range communications allows them to summon reinforcements.

Swarms ships now show their next intention during the turn start. This simple change adds another layer of strategy to space combat, as players are now able to make decisions based on how the Swarm will act at the end of the turn
