With the release of the demo (hope you enjoyed it!) people asked me if the game was indeed canceled or not. So this article is here to respond to that question
In short
yes it is
The longer answer
As it went on the game became less and less fun to work on. Compared to other fangame it seems useless and repetitive compared to other. It felt just like another almost generic Nintendo Land remake. As time went on we tried to add our own unique take and gameplay element but we lost motivation. Despite the huge amount of progress being made we decided it was the best to cancel the game. It's best to cancel it while we can and not release a game that was made with no passion.
Thank You
During the development of Reborn from its first version which started a while back we had the pleasure to have multiple very positive feedback and I'm thankful for everyone who thought the game looked good. I also wanna thank some people who were involved in the development or were very supportive.
@NintendolandPikachu Obviously due to his huge involvement in the game. Being a great person and made the game way more fun to work on.
@Sunset64 and @SherryZMax Were both very supportive and I encourage everyone to check what they are working on and same for everyone mentioned in this list.
@Ihave2iq Helping a lot during the early day of the game while being very fun to be with. Also doing the entirety of the platformer used for the troll demo and allowing us to use it.
@idk_an_original_name Helping us with the mfa of NL Recoded which is the origin point of reborn and allowed us to update the game.
@Mistah_L Doing the amazing image for the demo lol
A lot of other people like @RealMarioKing , @thatdoggocalledray , and @Kry there are simply too many people to mention but thank you, everyone.
What after reborn?
Well, we liked a LOT of what we did in development and had still quite a lot of original ideas. Those will come back in a future project. I will not say much but I think it's something you will enjoy.
Thank you for following the game and have a great day!
