Hello everyone! I wanted to update you on The Kostas Vs Thanos Game Plus' development state. It has been a few months since I last gave an update (3 months, wow), so it wouldn't be fair if I didn't say a few words.

I have some good and bad news.

The good news is that school has now finished, meaning I will have a lot of time to work with The Kostas Vs Thanos Game Plus with no more worries. We won't celebrate vacations until the beginning of August approximately, so I can spend all my time on the game from now on, making the development go faster.

The bad news, however, is that during the school period, I have been extremely slow in development, especially with exams happening every day. Not only that, but also I had to restart the development phase again, meaning I'm starting doing the game by 0%. However, thanks to the fact that I'm now free, all the menus are completely finished and so are the gameplay mechanics.

I know... I have extremely no idea why I am giving pretty much my life working on this (since December from last year working, duh), but the concept is extremely WAY too improved compared to the first game, in which everything was supposed to be a joke. The game's literally serious despite its title, therefore there are 18 characters, 10 stages, 15 music tracks, difficulties, game modes, Classic mode... and most especially, All-Stars mode, being the story mode of the game. Yeah, I 'promised' the game could come before June, but here we are... all I can say is that if the game doesn't come during August (maximum), I'm definitely a disappointment. Hopefully, it can arrive during July or August, and I promise my full effort to make this game possible and be released for everyone.

We know... the original game didn't have much effort at all, as it was mostly a few short lines of code, lazy optimization, and most especially, lazy gameplay and PNG characters. It was a joke game and so I did it that way to be funny, but I want things to get serious, although not getting the joke away. That's why the game's taking too long, leading to making a few restarts on development which I promise I won't do anymore. I'm now starting to like where the game is going.

What can I say? I even thought of 'remastering' the original game just so I could give everyone something to play in July IN CASE I'm not finishing The Kostas Vs Thanos Game Plus in time. Although, that's up to you. I'd rather finish the Plus game and then, maybe, do the remaster, although all I want is to get a break, as I have always been busy through the entire year. Not gonna lie, giving my best and spending a lot of time making this game has caused me some burnout and mental health issues -- not sure if it's depression, but either way, I don't mind.

I also thought of making an exclusive discord server for the game, although it's likely not to be active and later on be useless, so it's up to you as well. In any case, I give some updates regarding the game in the Exe Empire discord server, so you can join there in case you aren't (best Exe-related discord server)!

As an extra, here you can have a few other screenshots of the game, which is most likely gonna be what you're gonna see once the game is released. I guess you deserve 'em, after all!
