first piece of evidence

• the advert on mikes TV. When mikes overly evil aunt comes over to watch over Abbie she goes downstairs after pleading with Abbie to come talk with her an advert for something called a chia pet the peak of the chia pet was 1997 nearly 2000

second piece of evidence and the most damning

• mikes to again in the scene with the aunt seems to be a Box TV which started going out of fashion at the beginning of the 2000s late 90s and it is made very clear in the movie Mike at that point is poor and unemployed so this is probably the best Mike could get manly for Abbie.

CONCLUSION:

the fnaf movie is set in the earl 2000s late 90s making the Freddy chomp just a coincidence or maybe it is linked with the new click team game where in a promo someone is shown sticking there hand in freddys mouth.
