I don't know how Tyler Ahlstrom describes him, but I'd suggest Happyjoe is a cheerful gentleman. I imagine how he behaved in that era, when people still behaved with refinement: he'd give up his seat, not swear, tip his hat, and so on. He probably smoked cigars, drank brandy, and played bridge with gentlemen, and of course, he socialized. He probably loves Frank Sinatra, which is where the title "Come On, Get Happy" comes from. It's a shame it was cancelled.
Overall, he's a refined man, I love him :3
