Special Containment Procedures:

The object is to be kept in a 1 X 1 foot glass container and the glass has to be 2 inches wide, if object is no longer in the container then procedure CTC is to be excuted immediatly, it contains the following procedures:

-any personnel within 100 feet from the containment cell are to be searched throughly

-if any personnel is seen near the containment cell, they are to be immediatly terminated

-if any instances oof scp-8531-2 are located they are to be shot on sight

-if scp-8531-2 escapes the facility all nearby MTF personnel are to be dispatched to locate it and terminate it.

Description:

scp-8531 is a normal phone which has not been identified, personnel speculate that it is from an alternate timeline but it has not been confirmed yet, once subject uses the phone even if the phone only turned on, then after 30 minutes subject will lose all of his hair and face as his eyes,ears,etc.... will disapperar for unknown reasons, after another 5 minutes subject will turn into scp-8531-2 and become a mindless slave if anyone is touched by them will suffer the same fate and turn into scp-8531-2 but a solution was found during TEST-684 (you can find the logs for it at the bottom of the article) and due to INCIDENT-498 peersonnel with clearance level +4 were no longer allowed near it and any and all tests need to be allowed by the O5 council.

D-1987: ok and just like you promised i'll be free of tests for a week

dr-[REDACTED]:yes, so please do as i say.

(D-1987 picks it up and turns it on and then off as instructed)

dr-[REDACTED]:ok then please take a pill out of scp-500

(D-1987 drinks a pill and 30 minutes passed)

dr-[REDACTED]:(hmm, intersting he shows no signs of turning into scp-8531-2) ok you can leave now and as promised you are free from tests for a week.

INCIDENT-498

during a site-wide containment breach at site-[REDACTED] many instances of scp-8531-2 showed signs of intelligence by forming a command chain and using tactics to infect or kill anyone in thier line of sight and some were even capable of speech even after loosing thier mouths wich caused a lot of confusion which was added by theem bieng able to think as they are supposed to be mindless slaves whose job is to infect or kill anyone in it's sight which caused even more uproar which is why many changes were made as was said before.
