The show is about to start. The lights go down. The curtains rise. The 'magician' appears. "Welcome, ##### villagers!" exclaims the magician, a green lizard of questionable gender. He was dressed in a common costume for a magician of the time, and some makeup. He could also occasionally be seen wearing feminine clothing under his suit.
The magician begins with a small dynamic presentation, with a small model of, apparently, the town from which the lizard comes. The magician begins to explain his story... "One rainy day in Italy, a little lizard and his mother are surprised by the death of their family's father figure. He died for unknown reasons, but the little lizard knew that things could not be left like this and ran away from home crying to investigate. For days, this boy wandered the dangerous streets of every city in Italy, still looking for the cause of his father's death. After a long time, he was informed of someone who knew his father's murderer and went to question them. The killer was a woman involved with the mafia who had been sent to kill the boy's father for unknown reasons. Later, the boy discovered that this woman fled the country on a boat headed to the United States. And so, the boy ventured to that place anyway to look for his father's killer..."
The young magician told a tragic story. Then the model of the village where the lizard grew up began to burn with a harmless green fire. "Magic" was whispered in the crowd. The young magician reveals that the story is true and that he was not only looking for fame, but also for the murder of his father. The audience begins to applaud and the young lizard reveals his name: Jay Jarvis, the Magician. And so the little show begins...
