Hello everyone, back again for this devlog at the end of the month of July. While we will hopefully be trying to make the most of this Summer for progress, here is what we have to show from this month!
Music
Again, we have a new track to add to our now growing (although in small steps) soundtrack. Here is the latest theme, Track 005, Foe Forthcoming!
This will serve as the general battle theme throughout the game for common enemies and is our version of Enemy Approaching, if that wasn't clear already. This was created by our newest composer, Bobii.
Writing
While we can't show it (spoilers obviously) a lot of writing work has gone on for the enemies of our first area, the True Ruins. Sorting out Flavor Texts, quotes and ACT systems are the current things we've (mainly myself) been working on, and soon will be sorting out some of the more mechanism based details of enemies, like attacks, etc.
We've also been trying to sort out the characters you'll meet along the way, writing dialogues to figure them out. While we can't tell you any for the moment, keep an eye out for if we do reveal one down the line...
Team Member of the Month
For their work on the latest addition to our soundtrack, it is only fitting we give Bobii the title of "Team Member of the Month". As our latest composer, we hope they will continue to create more fantastic tracks like this one.
Conclusion
So, we are (at least while writing this) at 98 followers, which as you should know is less then a dozen away from a triple digit follower count. We are nearly at 100, and I hope we can see it happen this coming month. While outwardly not as much work has been shown to you, plans for work in the following month are in place and we hope progress can truly, truly push forward. I hope this Summer is a good one to you all, be it you are resting, on holiday or anywhere in between. So look out for next time, and remember as always. Keep showing Kindness and stay determined!
