*Utah, Salt Lake City, 2:31 A.M*
Cash was holding his lamp, staring at the dark. He saw an outline in the darkness, it was like a veloceraptor, but larger. Its sickle claw scrapped across Cash's metal bedframe. He swung the lamp at the figure, and the last thing he saw was the eyes of a Utahraptor ripping open his chest.
-------------AFTERMATH-------------
*Utah Salt Lake City, 3:54 P.M*
Alan Grant stared at the body and compared it to a photo of another victim of an unkown dinosaur attack from the area.
"This is probably a raptor attack, they both have clear marks and stabs of a sickle claw. But it is too large to be a Veloceraptor or Deinonycus."
Cash's wife, Clara stood up, she was working late the night that Cash and their dog was killed. Clara had their cat with her when the attack happened to Cash, and the cat (Sundae) was sniffing his corpse and meowing.
"Well then what was it?"
"We need to find the dog's body."
You mean Grey?"
"Yeah, Grey, whatever."
Clara looked around the living room, and found his collar next to his foot.
"The lack of a body except for the mostly unedible parts means one thing.... It is a Utahraptor."
"What the fuck is a UTAHRAPTOR?"
"It is a cousin of the Veloceraptor, it was found in this state, Utah, and not only is it pretty close to home here, but it is the largest of the dromeosaurs. 20 feet long. It needs plenty of food per hunt to survive."
Alan then heard a knock at the door.
-------------COVERUP-------------
The FBI agent came in when he opened the door.
"Sir, please step aside. This is now property of the Utah state and all ownership rights of this land are strips until further notice."
Before Clara or Alan could stop him, he pushed them aside and burned the body of Cash, Alan made sure to keep his photos hidden so that they could continue analysis of what happened. The rest of the squadron forced them out of the house and they were left watching as everything that Clara owned was taken away for "investegation purposes." Before they left, the FBI agents gave Clara Sundae back and left.
