I've decided that I will be releasing the game in chapters so that the overall size of the game doesn't become too big. The first chapter of the game will be free, and chapters afterwards will cost $2-3 dollars. In order to play a new chapter, you will need a save file with the previous chapter completely finished.
I am currently working with a 3D modeler so that I can create animated cutscenes for the game. They charge $15-25 dollars depending on the complexity of the character, so animated cutscenes may not become a thing until the release of chapter 2 depending on how much revenue the game makes after the free release of chapter 1 through patreon support and donations.
The game will also contain some voice acting, but only with certain cutscenes (most likely just the animated cutscenes and other important story-related scenes with lots of dialogue). Again, most likely will only become a thing in Chapter 2 so that Chapter 1 doesn't get pushed back too far.
I've been trying to think of rewards I could offer to my Patreon supporters. Currently, some of the things I have written down is a special thanks in the game's credits, an NPC based off of a character you think of, free DLC, and for those who pledge the highest, one of the few mini side-dungeons in the game. If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to let me know.
I want to create a discord related to the game so that everyone that has taken interest in the game can chat with each other. I've also considered streaming some of the game's future progress on twitch, as well as a side project related to Dreamcatchers. It would be easier to notify you guys through a discord than through GameJolt, so a Dreamcatchers discord may be on its way soon. In the meantime, I am also a part of another small discord group that focuses on game development and streaming. These guys are good friends of mine, and help me out with the game's development. You can find the link here: http://discord.gg/yX8e8r8
And that's all for this update. Again, thanks to everyone for following the game's development. This is the biggest project I've worked on, and I've been dedicating so much to it, so I'm glad that people have taken interest. See you all soon!

A quick update post. Please read the article below:
A preview of the main menu. You guys may have noticed that there's no 'save' option. This is because saving is disabled inside of dungeons, and instead you must find 'checkpoints' placed in different locations. The save button returns once you leave.
