Just played Nightreign's new "Deep Of Night" mode and have never had less fun playing a game I love.

Idk if I'm missing something, but this is WAY overtuned.

The first major feature is some weapons now have 2 perks instead of one.. sounds great until you realize they also have a downside that makes that weapon unusable.

"+6% jump attack damage, +80 madness resist, SCARLET ROT WHEN NOT AT FULL HP?!?!"

why is it so bad? w h y

Also, random bosses and enemies get massively buffed (not just the new glowing red variants, just RANDOM enemies)

the only boss I killed was an Omen who got friendly fired by an Elemer, which is BS because that Omen had so much HP my attacks weren't even registering as yellow damage on his health bar.

Oh, and then I got Smelter Demon for the night boss, who is a timed fight because he burns you for just being near him, and I could not possibly kill it in time due to the aforementioned not being able to collect any loot because all the enemies have 10k HP >:(

I almost killed a Leonine that wasnt buffed in any way, but he had 2 bodyguards who were buffed and I just got stomped.

They need a balance patch or something, this just isn't fun.

Or again, maybe I'm missing something
