Lack of things... (bi-weekly devlog 5)


So these past two weeks have been rather uneventful in terms of development. But in the world of video games in general, E3 was this week! So most of last week was occupied with that. But what have I been doing?
What I have been doing can be summed up to thinking, and much of it… I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to do with one of the new characters. Of course, I figure most of it out before I can finish it for the devlog…
Aside from that I have some of the ideas for arena 3 I want add. I also drew a few sprites (with animations) for DeathRow. Here one of them:

Unfortunately, That’s the extent of what’s been done (I blame Overwatch…). But! Recently, the new Game Maker forums has been opened. So both ARANA and Fast Action Heroine are going to be put back up there.

I was bored, so... ManutKat.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Regular exercise is key for healthy wings.

Cash Banooca

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!
