Honestly, I feel this decision now will be for the best, really.
A lot of issues had occurred behind-the-scenes concerning what ideas would be accepted as part of the game's development, which was the whole reason the split even occurred in the first place.
Thing is, at the rate things are going, and with my Clickteam acting up and not letting me playtest anything, I can't really have a say in how this project's going now.
So it falls upon me to deliver some news that I understand will be painful to a lot of you; I won't be an active part of Sonic Reclassified anymore.
Development's getting to the point where I haven't had a real say in what goes for this project, since it's mainly been Crystal taking the reins for a while up to this point.
Now, don't worry. My departure from this doesn't mean Sonic Reclassified is outright cancelled. Development on the game WILL still continue, but I won't be actively overseeing it anymore.
My decision also means that the split will be completely reversed, with the planned ideas from Genesis' Awakening being outright scrapped and the EXE Origins ideas taking full-out centre stage.
In addition, I won't be developing any fan games anymore. I know this is painful news to a lot of you, especially with the hype drawn from Phantom Saga and the like, but I do not have the capacity OR time to develop either of those. I'm sorry.
As for the story Genesis' Awakening entailed, I'll at least drop it in a future post to let you know what could've been before everything that happened, especially since @RantsuLancelot isn't going to be actively involved in this project anymore, either, his focus instead going to be towards Delta Genesis.
With that, this is pretty much my penultimate post here for Sonic Reclassified. I'm sorry the hype drawn had been almost for nothing, but sadly, that's just life for you. Anyway, have a good day/night, all.
