For those unaware as to why EXACTLY I'm popping off so hard right now, allow me to explain. So about a month ago, I posted a drawing I submitted to @AverageFranDev 's contest for his fangame remake of FNAF 2, known as FNAF 2: Reconstructed. It got officially accepted and I was SUPER ecstatic about it! You can find the original post here: https://gamejolt.com/p/everyone-i-come-with-a-big-announcement-back-in-july-i-submitted-qk3rpxkh
Now cut to yesterday and Fran posted a teaser for the game, showing off Toy Freddy in a Party Room, which you can find here: https://gamejolt.com/p/analouge-horror-freddy-fazbear-ntdyvr3j. Why is this post right here so important? Well because a certain drawing made by a certain someone (wink wink) was confirmed to be in the picture! That's right folks, my drawing is officially proudly displayed in a FNAF fangame! I don't even care that it's by the corner and slightly hard to see, I know my art when I see it. Here's the thing, right? I already knew that the drawing was gonna be in the game (Fran literally directly confirmed it to me), but something about actually SEEING it in-game just sort of set off an explosion of happiness within me. Take it from me: If your art gets featured in a game, you most definitely did a good job. To return the favor, I've made the drawing you see up top with Fran (the Pikachu with the sunglasses on) and Radio (the... Radio). Haha, safe to say they both capture your personalities!
Here is just where I give my thanks to Fran and Radio for not only their kindness but for their incredibly talented abilities. Fran, you are FANTASTIC at modeling/rendering, and I can tell you really put your all into this game. We've only seen Toy Freddy's design so far, but I already know that the rest of the gang is gonna look horrific. Even outside of that, you really interact with the community and provide them with proper updates. From fanart contests to beta-testing to artwork, is there anything you CAN'T do? I wish the best for you man, good luck with those models!
Radio, you are the absolute equivalent of "work smarter, not harder"! Rather than just trying to make "FNAF 2 but scarier", you're legitimately reworking the story to incorporate new ideas, new characters, new concepts, new gameplay mechanics, new designs, new cutscenes, EVERYTHING! It MUST be a chore to do sometimes, but that's also why I really respect your goals: You never give up! You know when things need fixing, or when a voice line wasn't 100%, or when a gameplay element should be reworked. I'm not at ALL surprised that you're the Co-Director of the game, you know it like the back of your hand! I truly look forward to seeing how you interpret FNAF 2's lore, and how it will affect things in-universe. The hints you've given me about the animatronics ESPECIALLY get me excited. We shall see...
Welp, that was a long but quite necessary speech! To anyone else who is working/assisting on the game, I give my sincerest thanks and appreciation! I truly do wish I could contribute more to the game, but unfortunately, October's gonna be quite a busy month for me, so I probably won't have time to fully suggest any new ideas. But it's totally alright though, the confirmation of my drawing and JJ herself appearing in the game is satisfying enough. Thank you, Fran and Radio, for everything. November's truly gonna be the BIG month in terms of reveals! To those who've actually finished reading this, I'll leave a link to the fangame here! Go check it out, I think you're gonna LOVE it: https://gamejolt.com/games/FNAF2R/713519
