I joined Gamejolt in 2014, and this is what the website looked like.

In my times, all we had was games and public chat rooms (no group, no post, no community).

Who here were with me in this time?

Easy answer: Construct 3

Since this is Web based, this is easier to make games for HTML5 format without issues on export

I never knew the name, but I remember it was an indie game. A guy showed it to me in computer lab at high school in 2009 and I was like "Coooool, I could also be an indie dev. Coding game cannot be that hard, right?"

Here I am lol

A bad habit I quit is to stop starting game dev a game that I know that I will never have time to finish.

@Victoree

When you wake up at 3am and you remember that embarrassing thing you did in school when you were 13

When it's getting tought, I simply take a break of a few hours gaming before going back to game dev with maximum motivation.

(Easier to find bug with a different mind set fr fr)

The planning, that's the key.

Doing sketch of what I have in mind, what I need, some coding on paper lol. Then, coding on Construct 3 knowing what I am doing

This game is a tribute to a game from my childhood: Vigilante 8.

Choose from a diverse roster of vehicles. Unleash devastating attacks with machine guns, missiles, homing rockets, and explosive mines as you battle opponents across destructive arenas.
