Hey everyone, I want to share something personal that affects how I show up here.
I live with vitamin D deficiency anemia, which means my body struggles to absorb iron unless I also get enough vitamin D. Without it, I feel bone pain, exhaustion, and I get sick more often.
Most people assume I can just “go in the sun” or “drink cow’s milk,” but that doesn’t work for me. My body depends on fortified plant-based foods like almond milk to recharge. Even then, I only get a short burst of strength before I crash and need days of rest.
So if you notice me being quiet or disappearing for a while, it’s not because I don’t care—it’s because my body forces me to rest. Sharing this is my way of making invisible struggles visible.
