Hello again,
50?
Yes, 50. 50 followers. Thanks for that. That’s pretty cool.
Here’s a rare ‘thumbs up’ from Lorry. She doesn’t do it often. It’s even a double. Truly a rare sight to behold. Magnificent!

(Well, now it’s 52. Thanks № 51 & № 52, welcome to the party!)
What’s happening?
We’ve got some writing done already. Don’t want too spoil to much, but we can give you some insight: We’ve researched and taken inspiration from around the WWI era. This is going to be threaded into the game’s backstory. Don’t expect total-absolute-great-fantastic historical accuracy though, we’re of course taking some creative liberties.
I’m currently developing the art assets for the game’s intro. It’s different from the art I’ve previously developed so there are a lot of new things to consider, meaning it takes longer than expected. In the end it’ll be worth it, though.
Help spreading the word
So ‘channels’ have been removed from gamejolt, which is where most of the game’s exposure came from. Last month’s devlog had 218 views, while previously it would generally lie around the 2000’s (a decrease of approx. 89%). If this game seems interesting to you, please consider sharing the devlogs or gamepage with friends or strangers.
The Code Corner
It’s about code. It’s the coder segment of the devlog. REVOLUTIONARY!!!
I asked the game’s programmer (@RocketBoyweee ) what inputs he had for the devlog. Here’s what we got, quote:
“Dialogue system is now ready for the game and it’s configured with the database to save dialogue states for each NPC. More elements to the story have been added and I’ve been making the game more historically accurate.”
A lot of stones have been set in the coding department. Looks like the art department will have to get busy if we want to keep up the pace!
That wraps it up for this month. Again, thanks for the 50 followers. It might just be a number, but it’s a nice number. What’s next month’s subject?
“Introduction of Superb Changes”
Find out what those changes are next month!
O K, Bye.
