Log of February (2021) - New build, new lore illustration!

Hello again,

Remember we mentioned a new build last devlog. What happened? Well, bugs happened.

We managed to make it run properly, though and now there's a new build. There isn't anything new other than some fixes and that your puzzle now saves! Yay! Tell us what you think and if you find anything. We reverted back to the old version, found a gamebreaking bug. :P

Anyway life has been busy lately, but we still more or less kept the pace. Here's what we got:

February Development

  1. More dialogue writing
    (Still secret )

  2. Fixing bugs
Later parts and additions to the code influenced what was previously built and stable. Fellow Gamedevs, you know how it is.

  3. Lanterns
To light up those mysterious caves. Designs were inspired by old clay and metal lanterns. Those on sticks just looked cool.

  4. Illustration finished!
This was made for my art portfolio, but I managed to work it into the context of Faded Solitude.

It took me over a month, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. What do you think is happening?

That's it for February 2021. We'll see you in a month again!

Hey everyone!

This Game Dev community is really cool!

I'm new to this, so sorry if the answer is right under my nose.

Thanks in advance! :)
