But if you’re ever feeling down about your art or feel like nothing you draw is right, look back and see how far you’ve come. I’ll look back at the art that I posted even one month ago and recognize how much I’ve learned in that small amount of time.
Sure looking back at old artwork can be extremely cringey and painful, but that only means that you’ve improved and are capable of recognizing when something just ain’t working.
Redrawing old characters, rewriting backstories and personalities, and applying a more diverse and introspective characteristics and beliefs to characters can make you realize how much you’ve grown creatively.
