Yes this game is getting the full remake/2.0 update! Couldn't stand letting my old work just sit there collecting digital dust as absolute garbage anymore.
it'll still be made in the free edition version of clickteam (and then quick-transfer to the full version only for export, 'cause let's be real, Clickteam HTML5 export is a nightmare and makes games unplayable).
Anyways, as you all know I've actually learned how to make decent games these days, so now not only will I be battling with free edition's limits, but also trying to make something genuinely good for once! Development should be pretty speedy 'cause the game's still gonna be super short. More updates comin' at ya soon!

Oh, by the way, I'm just gonna dump this here since there's nowhere else: originally, One Night with Smiley was going to get a sequel. Yeah, you heard that right. It would've featured a "Toy Smiley" and then a "Withered Smiley" (who was just the original Smiley from the first game, naturally).
The gameplay would've largely stayed the same, with you still punching Toy Smiley, but with two key differences:
Withered Smiley would've used a mask mechanic that you'd need to deal with him.
There would've been a camera system with three cams. I can't quite remember if they had a specific use, but it probably would've involved a music box, though I can't be sure now.
Obviously, I'm glad I didn't make it; that would've been even more garbage than the first game, if you can believe it. Although, I might actually revisit the idea after I finish this current project. Imagine the sheer hilarity of One Night with Smiley becoming a full-blown series and entering its peak arc!
