Well, I know I haven’t posted a news article here in a long time. The game might have seemed dead, but trust me, it’s not dead. Lots of stuff happened since the last update, so I’ll talk about them.
First of all, the biggest news of them all: Multiplayer. No, it is not cancelled or anything like what happened with the first game. In fact, this is some good news. The developers of the engine I’m using to make the game (GameGuru) are going to be adding an option to create standalone multiplayer applications for games in the future! This means that the multiplayer will not require steam OR GameGuru to run! Of course, they have not given a release date for this feature, so I have no clue if we will be able to use it come launch day, but when it does come, we will add it to the game!
Second: Launcher. The game is going to feature a launcher that will allow you to select different episodes and play multiplayer. As of right now, it isn’t in a presentable state, but I will give you some news within the next few days (or weeks. I’m a lazy ***) when I get it ready.
Third, and final: Episode 1 is kind of getting a complete overhaul. I’m completely remaking the episode from scratch, with the hopes that it will present the story better.
Anyways, hope to see you guys in the next update!
