M.a.D. Devlog #12: New Style Idea & Collaboration


Okay, sorry I haven’t posted in a while. But I’m back now. And I have a couple of things to say.

  1. I hope my modeler finishes my Dexter model, ‘cause I haven’t from him in 6 months. If he doesn’t respond soon I might need to find myself a new modeler. But, since he’s my only one, I’m open for more modelers!

  2. EfanzeDev is now OFFICIALLY collaborating with me on this game! He can now post devlogs on his own! :D

  3. I’ve gained inspiration for what the game could be instead of a classic sit and watch cameras and close doors like classic FNaF (However, I think I will still input that in a certain part of the game). I’m not going to say much about it, but all I will say is it will probably be like Sister Location ;)

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?
