Making visual novel, help greatly appreciated!

(Read article for more info.)


As said above, I'm making a visual novel. It's a toybox-themed horror game that's been in the works for roughly a week. I need composers, a background artist, and a digital artist.

I'm already taking charge of character designs, the plot, the genres, and the programming.

I don't know if those things are all I need, but at the moment, this is all I can think of. If you're familiar with Ren'Py, that would be cool, too. You could give me some pointers since that's the engine I'll be using for my game.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I can't wait to make this visual novel a reality.

I didn’t draw much yesterday(my bday) like I intended, I was much too busy watching To Be Hero X and Strange Hill High :3

As a freshly aged individual, I’m drawing myself again

Here’s what I have so far

Getting there! I’m actually surprised that I had a harder time with the tail and not the hind legs

I’m probably gonna alter the tail a bit later, but I’m happy with what I have!

I still gotta figure out which one of my hundreds of children I’m gonna be holding

Anyway, more details, and I gotta figure out the clothes… hmmmm

I’m pretty happy with how it’s coming together tho! :3c

There’s a lot of cleanup to be done, but I’m really happy with my second drawing of myself. :3c

I figured out which child to hold!! He’s an old OC, like, back from when I was 12 or so, named Hallowvester. It’s a dumb name, but I like it.

He’s a little wonky cause of his size, but I will draw him and a couple of other OCs next!!

I was trying to use this ref, but the perspective was messing me upppp, so I didn’t do the exact pose.

The tail was also messin with me, but I think it looks good 👍

Dunno which of my OCs I’m gonna hold, but I have the base!

I’m redrawing one of my old-ish OCs, I think she’s looking good so far! She was drawn like, 2021-2022.

I had a silly idea and decided to make a playlist for Haruka :3c

I added the songs here in case u wanna listen to what songs I have so far.

I haven’t given you his lore yet, but those songs kinda sum his character up pretty well.

I fixed what I didn’t like about the tailll, now it’s time for clothes and then clean upppp

I have the urge to mess with the tail again, but I probably won’t…. Hopefully
