The good news is I have not been slacking on the anniversary project (yay).
As you may now know, the older builds are a relic of the past, meaning they don't have any of the QoLs in the modern games such as healing after leveling up, guaranteed escape chance, a battle speed setting, etc. And they were initially intended to stay that way.
BUT, after playing through the buids myself, I realize it can be a bit of a slog due to missing these features, tho I was hesitant to add those as I want to mostly preserve the builds as they were.
Fortunately I found a simple solution. Specifically for the older builds, these QoLs are now a toggleable option you can enable whenever you want. As an added bonus, due to the existence of "kingly drops" in these builds, you can increase the chance of getting them from the enemies, so that lessens the grinding by a margin.
The choice in your hands, whether you want to play the builds with these options toggled on, or experience it with the pain it comes with. The choice is yours and yours alone.
Anyway, that is about it. Look forward to more news to come, whenever I have the news of course.
Signed,

A house I've built a while ago. :)
It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.
It's built with painted Ebonstone.
