I think it's an important for me. Not only it proved me that I've got enough skills to do something decent, but it also showed me that I can do something more organic.
For the longest time I've been ashamed of nearly every other drawing with her, so these were privated. Although I found some of them pretty, I couldn't really consider them "alive". They all were pretty one-dimensional with a sole goal mind, hence I thought they didn't portrait me nor her in the best light.
The process behind this one was so adventurous and fun, althout challenging at times. I'm also happy with the final result! I think I finally did her justice, portraying her more accurately and faithfully.
