Maybe a Reboot?

tl;dr at the bottom. ;)

Hey! I’m back, and I’ve brought some potentially good news.

So, It’s been about a year since jdoe first came into existance. Boy, time sure flies fast.

Over time, I’ve gotten a couple of comments saying they expected more from the game. They think it’s either too short, too confusing to navigate, and/or not entertaining enough.

Well, all the feedback you all have given me has gotten me thinking about what I would do if I wanted to expand the game. I’ve started wondering how I could improve the gameplay, how I could provide a better experience.

I think I might do a remake.

You know, expand the storyline, polish up the code, add a tutorial. XD

I haven’t made my decision yet. I still have some other projects I still need to finish up, and this may just be adding to the pile.

But when summer comes around, I’ll be doing a whole lotta nothing, so I might as well stay productive, right?

So what do you think? Should I reboot the game? If I do, what should I add to make it better? Do you want to see more features? More weirdness?

Do you want to see actual viruses???

(lol, ok, that’s taking it too far. I would never do something like that. I promise.)

So leave some comments and suggestions in the comments below, and hey, maybe the game will turn out to be 100% better.

Ok, thanks for reading all this.

tl;dr: I am thinking of doing a reboot of the game, leave some comments on what you want to see if I do.

Progress on a new version So yes, it is summer. The new version is coming along nicely. I’m rewriting everything from scratch, so it will be a bit of a pain, but it’s really nice to reorganize my code. My old code was a mess XP

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

:] me sigue sin gustar

:] I still don't like it
