Mega Conkeldurr design concept


The people do not yearn for Mega Conkeldurr, yet I did anyway because a silly idea just wouldn't leave my head.

Mega Conkeldurr was born from the thought of making his cement pillars fuse with his body, giving him hammer arms and the Rock type. I wanted to twist the Timburr line's subtle theme of construction, making Mega Conkeldurr lean towards demolition. Beyond the design, its stats, typing, and ability set Mega Conkeldurr as a physical tank who can now utilize Rock STAB at the cost of its moves lacking secondary effects to utilize. Picking the right ability was tough, as I wanted to go for something that felt fitting without giving a boost too big or so little opportunities to utilize; Solid Rock and Rock Head fell into these issues respectively.
