Hello! I wanted to give some more information about the the game's current state! I'm not gonna be posting devlogs often cuz I don't wanna spoil everything, but I'll try to post little silly things every now and then.
You're main goal is to finish your 3 randomly chosen tasks before daybreak comes! These consist of a Short, Medium and Long task, with the order of completion being up to you!

There'll be 3 tasks for each type, making up to 9 the game can pick from in total! Currently I've finished implementing 2/3 short, 3/3 medium and 1/3 long. These are of course still subject to change, but I'm happy with them in their current state.
Finishing your tasks won't be so easy however, as you'll have to keep track of and fend off up to 8 characters inhabiting the school! As the description states, the gameplay is heavy on spatial awareness. One of the reasons for this being my own spatial awareness when playing FNaF fangames has always been kinda shite, so I wanted to try to remedy that by making the gameplay revolve around it!
All 8 characters are fully implemented, with only a few minor tweaks and visual clean up being needed. There was only going to be 7, but around a month ago I realized that I would only be able to make the game feel complete if there I had one more slot to work with. While a good choice, the last month of development has been the most creatively exhausting one I've ever had when making a game. Going through(and sometimes implementing) tons of ideas only for them not to flow when with the other mechanics has been really frustrating. But now I feel like it's in a good-ish place to leave alone for the time being. Good enough where I can focus on some other things, like:
Heart Stopper abilities!

As stated in-game, Heart Stoppers will make the character faster and give them a special ability! These are made with the intent to be difficult, but fun changes! Only 2 characters are missing theirs right now. I'm hoping to get them implemented soon! It's been pretty challenging to make buffs that actually make the character harder, are unique and don't completely suck. They're mainly for anyone who wants more of a challenge, but if that's somehow still not enough, there's:
Stickers!

Unlocked by beating the challenge presets, these act as small modifiers for their character when enabled. They tweak things that already exist with the character instead of adding new stuff like the Heart Stoppers do.(They will also appear in-game somewhere! Haven't really figured it out yet.)
There's other fun things planned, but I don't wanna reveal everything. Hopefully this gave a little more insight into where the game is at the moment! I'm really excited to get this game into everyone's hands, but I'm not gonna be able to for a while. I'm currently aiming for a release sometime in February, but the last time I thought something would only take me 2 months, it took me 4-5, so idk. Hopefully I can finish it up soon. Thanks for taking the time to read!
