I am also running out of things to make mini progress updates for (that wouldn't spoil endgame content, other surprises or be about post-redesign content). Hopefully I don't horribly jinx myself on this, but it might actually be ready to release within a month or so.
Next up
This whole "making a new battle frame" situation does give me an excuse to add some things I had been putting off for far too long.
Suppose it was about time that some of these skills got a little extra kick.
I think I know what needs to be done to shake up XL's next public appearance...
I might be having too much fun with this process...
Mini Progress Update:
Motivation came back for a bit, so I figured I'd use it to bring Minibosses back into the fray
(Also working on a demo-specific sidequest that hands out powerups.)
I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.
Got a (mostly stable) demo ready for the occasion!
New project is having a fun, early outing.
While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.
