Hello everyone!
First of all, It's been two weeks since the TWoCaO: R Game Jolt page was published, and the reception has been great! Thank you all for helping us reach over 600 followers in that amount of time! @helloitscrash (the developer) and I really appreciate it.
We've decided to create monthly development logs to keep everyone posted on how game development is going so that nobody's left in the dark for too long!
Let's talk about The Trickster
As you all know, the game as a whole's development is still in its very early stages. I'm sorry to say that it is definitely nowhere near complete and it'll take time to put everything together. So we've decided to start with The Trickster as our first game out of four.
Ever since @helloitscrash was inquired 3 months ago about TWoCaO: R, he has been doing impressive work and has made great progress!
The Trickster is essentially almost finished; its development has gone smoothly and fantastically. Without giving too much away, I can say that with some fine-tuning and final additions, his minigame should be 100% complete.
The Trickster's minigame as a concept is probably my favorite one, and I have a feeling that this minigame has been done justice. It contains the same aspects of what people liked about the original minigame while also providing some new gameplay touches and a visual overhaul that's much better when compared to the original game. It's really cool to see and Crash has done an amazing job turning it into a playable build!
As for the other minigames, we have some basic blueprints set out for the next two ones along with some ideas for the final one. I'm afraid there's nothing that we can reveal just yet though.
But anyways, thank you all again for 600 followers!
Have a good day, and you'll see us in the next devlog. :)
