I wanted to make a V2 because a lot of things have changed for me since last week.

Starting with the positive point:

The game looks great with the default shader.

It runs really well, even better than Minecraft Java. I've never experienced a single freeze except on January 15, 2026 (the game's release date), but that freeze lasted less than a second.

It has a mod loader built into the game Hytale, compared to Minecraft Java, which requires installing Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Babric, etc.

Everything is integrated.

I haven't tested the servers yet, but I think I learned that mods install automatically if the server is modded.

& here are my negative points:

The AI mobs are currently similar to those in Minecraft Java in its early days. What I mean by that is, for example, skeletons try to attack you even if there is a wall protecting you from all sides, and they don't know how to open a door. Note that this may be intentional, so I don't know, and also animals don't swim when they go into the water, but drown at the bottom of the water .

Note that this is early access, so there are a lot of things missing that will be added later.

And also, to get more crafting options, you need to upgrade your crafting table with mining ingots, but I haven't even managed to get past level 2 of the crafting table yet because I find that it requires too much mining for a beginner. It asks for 32, and in the game, I don't know where to get all those mining ingots because in Hytale compared to Minecraft Java & Bedrock, it depends not only on the height but also on the biome.

My thoughts on the game:

Even though it has its flaws, I recommend buying it anyway because I think every game has its flaws, like Terraria has a limit on your generated world, but

I only recommend buying it if you understand, like me, that it's an unfinished game for now, BUT if you imagine a really well-made game with AI like, I don't know, for example, the NPCs with the AI from Assassin's Creed, then I recommend waiting in that case because you'll be really disappointed in my opinion.

If you want buy the game:

https://hytale.com/

Noted that the Hytale purchase process is very similar to paying to create a Minecraft Java account.

Thanks to the Hytale developers (Even though I would be extremely surprised to see it on Gamejolt )

I want to thank them because it wasn't planned to release it for Linux when it came out, as they weren't really sure they would have time, and also for Mac OS, but they did have time, so since I no longer have Windows but now have Linux Mint, I was able to test the game on January 15, 2026, like everyone else, because of course it has Proton, Wine, etc., but there's no guarantee that it will work because Wine & Proton can bug, or even worse, sometimes crash, and there are many other factors.

It's sad to say, but I heard that one of my teachers from last year has breast cancer. I hope she gets better, like my grandfather.

My experience playing Hytale (My opinion)

hehe my House on Hytale ^^

Random Fax North Korea created their own Mac OS clone on Linux, and the ISO was leaked on the internet, probably by tourists in Pyongyang or something like that, because it was only available in North Korea, which makes sense.

The Linux equivalent of deleting system 32 be like

Um... what does this have to do with Joe Dies and BFDIE? mmmmmmmmmmmmmhhhhhhhhhhh
