My favorite "video game movie" is a movie that's built on core video game logic and style: Hundreds of Beavers! #GJAsks

It even mimics Metal Gear Solid's stealth mechanic! I think it could be turned into a great stealth or asymmetric multiplayer game.

The plot is basically the standard MMO quest loop of "Kill X creatures and bring me their pelts to get a better weapon." Our hero Jean Kayak has to kill beavers, get their pelts, and bring them back to the merchant in exchange for better and better weapons. He gears up over the course of the film and goes from struggling to kill a single beaver to taking out multiple a time.

What's most impressive is that in addition to being an odd love letter to the structure of video games, it ties it all together with the comedy of Looney Tunes and 1920s silent films.

It's not the MOST obscure piece of #FNaFLore, but I love that the Freddy & Friends: On Tour! cartoons had secret messages about how to solve the cipher in Security Breach.

(I'm a sucker for parodies of and homages to Hannah Barbera stuff.)

It's hard to pick one favorite #FNaFFanGame, but I *DO* have a soft spot for The Glitched Attraction due to the interview I did with the devs.

One of my favorite pieces of #FNaFMerch that I own is this plush Freddy!

Ellie is the central character of The Last of Us series. According to GLAAD, she's the first lesbian to ever headline a AAA game! When she comes out to Joel, he supports her and even defends her from a homophobe.

I've mastered both The Knightling sticker packs!

The demo was really fun so I'm excited for the full game to come out on August 28!

This week's Fan Art Friday celebrates Minecraft! Accept the quest in your quest log to get started.

#MyFaveFNaF is probably still the original.

There's something really cool about how minimalist the gameplay is.

Here are some of my favorite video game robots / droids #GJAsks

Metal Sonic HK-47 Megaman X and Zero BD-1

Lev is a trans man who appeared in The Last of Us Part 2 as one of Abby's allies. GLAAD described Lev as one of the "highlights of quality representation in recent years."

Lev was voiced by trans non-binary actor Ian Alexander.

I'd love to team up with @lorac to save the world of 30XX in Lynked! #LynkedUp
