Hello everyone! Seeing what happened a few days ago with Phisnom, I think it is time for me to share some of my thoughts about the Fanverse, as I have a lot of things to say reffering to it.
Addressing the elephant in the room...
I am pretty upset about how Phisnom has been interacting with the FNAF community and his fanbase. Even thought there were moments where people were unjustifiably being harsh with Phil(people forcing him into playing FNAF SB: Ruin against his own desire of not doing it or sending him death threats), he was mostly behaving in a very immature manner to the point where his contract with Scottgames, The Fanverse and FNAF as a whole was terminated.
What I think about the current state of The Fanverse
Saying that it is a complete failiure is definently not true. I am sure that the remaining developers that are working on these games are doing everything in their power to make the best they can possibly be, while also trying to finish them as soon as possible. Even with all of this, I think that The Fanverse can't be called a complete success. There are many issues that downplay it's true potential a fair bit, along with the fact that after 3 years, we don't really have many released projects from this initiative other than Popgoes Arcade and ONAF 3. Both of these game are actual good products and I recommend playing them, but I wish to see more stuff released from the Fanverse before I'll draw my definitive conclusion.
My hopes for the future of The Fazbear Fanverse Initiative
The Fanverse still has great potential, even if much of it's reputation has been tarnished over the years. I really want to see more developers being included in this initiative. There are a ton of very talented developers in the FNAF community and I am sure that if they are given this amazing chance to recieve funding, merch and other stuff, they can create something trully marvelous. I also hope that over time, it's reputation will get better so that we can enjoy these games at their fullest without having any more unfortunate incidents in the community.
I thank you all for reading this and I hope that my perspective on this matter has been understood! (Feel free to disagree)
