My Review of the FNAF Movie (SPOILER-FREE)

I watched the "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie at home.

Scott and Blumhouse did an incredible job at replicating the game's atmosphere and story into a cohesive and well-paced film. The production crew and costume designers have absolutely nailed the aesthetics of the pizzeria and animatronics. The cast delivered incredible performances, which I thought was going to be the weakest point. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows, because there are some negatives.

The story, while generally well-written and cohesive, occasionally felt a little confusing at times. There are instances where certain things didn't click with me. Some parts felt rushed and others made little to no sense. I feel there might have been some limitations when Scott was writing the script, but there remains room for improvement in select areas of the film's narrative.

Now, onto the horror elements. If I would rate the movie's fright factor on a scale from 1 to 10, it would likely merit a rating of 5. The "scares" are evidently tailored for a younger audience. While certain parts induced minor jump-scares, they rarely succeeded in truly scaring me. This might have been the result of not watching it in theaters. The film's portrayal of the animatronics in an unsettling manner is a notable highlight.

Furthermore, the comedic elements lends a charming touch to the film. The cinematography is nothing short of spectacular, with the utilization of unique camera shots enhancing the overall visual impact.

In conclusion, the "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie is a great film for fans of the franchise. Unfortunately, it's appeal may not extend to critics unfamiliar with the lore. The negative criticism it has gathered is undeserved, and I'm very excited for the sequel!

Tried to play FNAF Help Wanted 2, but instead I got into a lot of technical issues. This was definitely the most frustrated I've been trying to set-up a game...
