🍫 Ingredients
1 cup hot chocolate (any style: French, thick, Japanese, instant, etc.)
A thin dusting of ground cinnamon (enough to lightly cover the surface)
A pinch of iodine salt (must be iodized)
🔥 Instructions
Make your hot chocolate however you like: microwave, stovetop, kettle, anything works.
Hold your cinnamon close to the surface and gently shake it until the top of the drink has a thin, even layer, like you’re topping a cappuccino.
Add a small pinch of iodized salt on top of the cinnamon layer.
Stir gently, taste, and adjust if you want more cinnamon warmth or more salted depth.
Drink warm, especially when you need comfort, calories, or something to sip while deciding what to eat next.
🌟 Creator Notes
The cinnamon layer gives warmth and aroma (and may or may not make you sneeze).
The iodized salt deepens the chocolate flavor and adds iodine.
This is my go‑to comfort drink when I’m sick, cold, or just need something warm while I think about food.
