I wanted to create this post to make clear my stance on memes surrounding Sonic.exe: The Incident, especially considering its stance as a vent project. Just today, Devy brought to my attention that a user on Twitter/X made a meme pertaining to the original Sonic.exe game by MY5TCrimson, said meme sticking an image from this game's page in as an "example" for the user's MY5T X slander.

Now, granted, the user didn't know this game was a vent project (and they have since apologised for the unintended distaste), but regardless, I want to say that any meme involving this game in any capacity is strongly disrespectful to its nature, and Devy was genuinely hurt when he saw it. Example or not, you could've used a completely different random game on this site to prove your point, but not this one.

I want to ask as politely as possible for any such memes to be taken down or outright reworked to not incorporate any version of this game bearing the @UltimateEXEFan05 handle. As someone who's seen Devy's struggles up to now, that kind of behaviour seriously concerns me.

Yes, I know Sonic.exe is a laughable concept on paper and I'm not denying that, but if a developer has been going through a rough patch, wielding a vent game as a tool for slandering the creepy hedgehog is not acceptable behaviour at all. Those who think it's funny to do this and piss on someone's work to this extent, with or without the knowledge of it being a vent work, seriously need to rethink their life choices.

I'm not angry, considering I'm used to degenerate behaviour like that at this point in my life, but I'm going to be blunt and say I'm severely disappointed in such people for going to that level, and you should be ashamed of yourself if you support that kind of behaviour, regardless of what you think about Mr. Bleedy-Eyes.
