For context, England, Scotland, the Irish republic, and Wales all did it sometime in the mid 2010's (All before 2015, besids the IR.). All US states had it legalised by 2015, but before that Massachusetts had it legal since 2004.
Gay marriage is VERY new. Like, I always thought gay marriage was legalised in like, what, early 2000's in most of the UK, but no, gay marriage was illegal in apart of the UK WHILST COVID WAS GOING ON.
Greece has only had it legal for a single year.

And Liechtenstein has only had it legal for less than a year..
Worse part? There still are ALOT of fucking places where it's still illegal- infact, the MAJORITY have it illegalised. Only 38 have it legalised. Hell, not even all of EUROPE has it legalised. Not to mention the fact they're trying to repeal the legalisation of gay marriage in the states right now.
