NEW GAME???

No, it’s not a new game. Well… not completely. I am taking the game concept and making it better. With the help and suggestions of other people, I have taken out the neighborhood and turning it into a hotel. I will also be adding more detail to it (more debris). But, having said that, it will take a couple days for me to get the lobby, plus the first floor, done for you guys to try out. Sorry for the delay, but I am striving to make sure that even the alpha builds are good. So far I haven’t released a build with a bug (that anyone has complained about). I have to take breaks every now and then to make sure my brain doesn’t explode, but I am usually working ‘round the clock. If you have any suggestions, other than more weapons or levels, I would love to hear them.

On another note, I noticed that unreal engine’s destructible meshes (the thing that makes the walls crumble to a million bits) use the CPU instead of the GPU. That’s good news for some people, but bad for other people. I am going to try to find a way to include an option that will allow for the game to use the GPU for destruction. That is one thing that is taking a little bit, and may only be included in the final build. Just a fair warning, if you have an older or slower CPU, it may not be playable now. I may include multiple downloads that have different levels of detail. One build may have walls that each has 1000 chunks of debris, and another that only has 100. That may be the only way I can think of.

Anyways, thanks for reading this quick update. I feel bad that it’s taking so long, but I strive for quality. If any of you have idea’s or questions, hit me up in the comments.

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.
