New Gamemode: Rotate


Rotate? What on earth? How does this work? Why is the picture confusing?

These are probably a few questions going through your head right this second so i’m going to answer them

Rotate is a gamemode we’ve been wanting to add to this game since the first version of the game, since we weren’t as smart back then we couldn’t get it work and a stupid bug would happen where the camera would fly away. But after some time we got them to work and here we are announcing it for the final update.

How it works

The blocks are to be launched like in the normal gamemode but it’s going to be different this time. Every 2 seconds the camera spins upside down. So in 2 seconds the game is being played like Reversed and 2 seconds after that it’s back normal. This gamemode is going to create challenges that we hope you can take on,

(our highest score on this right now is 17, do you think you can beat?)

There is a bug we’re hoping to fix and that’s the launcher bug where the camera will go up but the launchers will not so we don’t know if that will be patched or if you will have just live with it.

That’s it for the gamemodes we hope you’re excited for what’s to come in this update. Next is a new extrememode and then we’ll have to wait to see a date for release because right now we’re working on achievements so we’re hoping to have the update rolling in May but it might be pushed to June.

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
