New level on the way!

Hello to all of you amazing people. The development of this game has been on a hiatus for nearly a year, which hasn’t stopped it’s audience from growing and getting more attention. Thanks to you guys this game has made it all the way onto the 2nd page of the top rated games on gamejolt which is just insane. I can’t thank you guys enough for the support you’ve given this game with your comments, ratings, and youtube videos. It’s seriously rad.
Over the past year I’ve been working on other games and I’ve gotten my self a job as a game designer over at Bully! Entertainment. I’ve learned a lot in that time and I think Sonic Lost Adventure could really benefit from that. So I’m starting work on it again with the construction of an entirely new zone.

Even though I haven’t updated the game for a year, I’ve been paying attention to your feedback and I’m going to address it in the next update. One of the most common comments is that people can’t play it or enjoy it due to the low performance and optimization of the game. I want to make this game as accessible as possible so the new zone will be created with this in mind during its entire development. I can’t promise that it will work on every computer but I’ll do my best to try to get 60fps on average computers.

Since I have a full time job at a studio now I can’t work on this game as often as I could back in college, so it’s going to be a few months until release day. I’m aiming for an early 2016 release date of the new zone which we’ll be calling RR Zone for now.

I’ll continue to post updates here but you’ll have access to more updates if you follow me on Twitter @Highwire4.

Thank you again to all of you. You’re the best motivation I’ve ever had. I love all of you.
