Hello fellow DJ’s and Light Operators!
Welcome to a new Status Devlog filled with news about a good progress we’ve made.
First off I wanna say, that we know that we have kept you waiting for Game Update 0.23. As most of you know, developing Stage Simulator is just our hobby and we only can work on it, when we have freetime. Sadly we haven’t much freetime lately but as soon as we have, we are making huge progress and I want to share it with you now!
So what’s included in Game Update 0.23?
For your great patience I will leak all major things now, that are included in Game Update 0.23.
We have decided, that we will not release a new manager or even the launcher in this Update, because that would take even more time and we don’t want you to wait even longer. Because of that, we are finally adding the lasers and static lights to the Light Manager, so alright, that’s new:
4 unique Video Screen Test Patterns
Day-Night Selection in the Client
Emblyn Stage finally got grass
A mysterious fire lookout tower at the Emblyn Stage
New Long Range Lasers
Video Manager Overhaul
Lens Flare brightness got reduced to a realistic brightness
Bug fixes
And much more.
So as you can see for the long waiting you have a huge update!
What do you still have left to do for this Update?
Nothing much!
We are just adding the new Long Range Lasers to the game and implementing all Static Lights to the Light Manager. Then we just need to test everything and we are ready to go!
I don’t want to give out false information again when you can expect the release because we don’t know when we have time but it will be soon!
New Long Range Lasers!
Many of you said that the current lasers are too small and short, so we decided to implement really long ones.
What about lasers with a really long range and even more colors than before?
I’ve already finished the animation for that. Leon will implement them now into the Light Manager.
